Hi, I'm Joseph Augstein

I’m a passionate father and husband, a fan of tabletop games, and (wannabe) woodworker.

You’re most likely to find me among the trees with a pack on my back hiking for the perfect spot to pitch my tent, or pounding the streets of NYC on the hunt for the smoothest vanilla ice cream.

When you see me with a camera in hand, you’ll immediately understand why I do what I do. 

I try my best to help preserve this beautiful world we live and love in and am proud that One for the Book is a contributing supporter of the Sierra Club and the Nature Conservancy.
